Beautiful Kaia came into the studio for a session yesterday. She is an adorable little package. From her golden coloured head of hair, to her slender fingers, Kaia was a delight to photograph. I love it when my clients get dressed up and really get into the mood of their session. With Katie & Paul this was no exception! Katie looked stunning in her blue gown, and Paul managed to scrub up pretty well! The love they have for each other is beautiful and so easy to capture. I’m really excited to be shooting their wedding in April. But for now, here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session. Six to seven months of age is a wonderful age to have photographs taken of your baby. Ethan was no exception. It did take a while for him to get used to me. He was not really sure why I was there pointing a camera at him. But once he eventually did get used to me, I was rewarded with most gorgeous smiles and expressions!! And with his beautiful blue eyes he was absolutely adorable to photograph. His older brother was so patient and well behaved and even helped me get those wonderful baby smiles from Ethan! Today I thought I would photograph one of my fine art session albums I offer to all my clients. I am totally in LOVE with these albums!! They are one of the most amazing albums I have ever seen. Displayed in a beautiful white presentation box, the fine art session album is a flush mounted, lay flat album with 2mm thick pages!! The image cover feels silky and is waterproof – amazing! You really have to own one of your own to appreciate how beautiful these albums are. I am in LOVE!

Last Sunday I spent the afternoon with the Grant family. What a lovely family – and very talented too! We had fun kicking the football, climbing trees, eating oranges and running around!! I really enjoyed getting to know all the kids. Josh – you have some amazing footwork there with your soccer, Keegan – you are too funny, and Ebony – I just love your sense of style!! My beautiful best friend recently gave birth to her first child – Olivia. I am officially in love with this little beauty! Such a sweet soul she is. And with her jet black head of hair, slender fingers, beautiful lips, and creamy brown skin – her dad is going to have to watch out for those boys when she’s older! We had a wonderful session today.
