I had an amazing time photographing Kelly & Steve’s wedding day – and with so many favourite images from the day it was difficult to keep this blog post short. Wearing a gown that was handcrafted by her talented mum added a special and meaningful touch. The gown complimented Kelly’s elegance and she looked absolutely beautiful and radiant!! I just loved how Kelly’s father saw her in her wedding gown for the first time that day – such a special father/daughter moment.

Steve, as you could imagine, was slightly nervous, anxious and emotional as he waited for his bride. But one look at Kelly as she made her way down the isle brought him the comfort he needed. Kelly and Steve were married at The Cut in Dawesville, on top of the golf course, overlooking the ocean. It was a magical day! Their three gorgeous bridesmaids and four groomsmen who scrubbed up pretty well were all wonderfully supportive and awesome to hang out with.

The celebrations continued well into the night, with amazing food, lots of dancing and the funniest speeches I think I have ever heard! Steve, I know more about you now than I ever think I needed to know Thank you to Holly for her wonderful support during the day as my second shooter. We both had a wonderful time – congratulations again Kelly & Steve!! Enjoy your not-so-short sneak preview…

Finally, a long overdue blog post from Karen & Barry’s wedding day. What a gorgeous day it turned out to be after a small scare with rainy weather early in the morning. The ceremony was held at Araluen Botanic Park – such a beautiful, picturesque location! And the reception followed well into the night with hilarious speeches, awesome food and dancing! A BIG thank you to Holly Netto and David Akesson for helping out on the day. Congratulations again Karen & Barry! I had an amazing time! xN

Last Saturday I was thrilled to be a part of Katie and Paul’s wedding day! The ceremony was held at the stunning Basilica of St Patrick in Fremantle, followed by a fun reception at the Swan Yacht Club. Katie and Paul were so obviously in love, it was beautiful to watch. Sharing many things in common I couldn’t imagine a better fit for a couple. It was a beautiful day spent with great company! Thank you Krystal for your invaluable assistance on the day. Melissa & Matt married in Mosman Park with a beautiful sand ceremony that invloved the whole family. The day was perfect – the weather was calm, they were so in love, and everyone had an amazing time! Melissa & Matt’s six children were absolutely delightful to be around. Driving though the open road I was excited to meet Kelly & Luke – clients of a friend of mine (Krystal McGee) that I was about to photograph. It was a hot day. Not humid – but hot. Up past Toodyay and on we drove until we came to the northern wheat belt town of Wongan Hills. This was going to be an amazing country wedding I thought to myself! I could already picture the bridal party posing up on the open hill tops that seemed to go on for miles and miles. This is the Australian outback – so unique and so beautiful.

We walked into the local pub to find Luke – the groom. So relaxed was he, yet excited too! Kelly, at her mum’s place getting ready, was just as excited and nervous. This was it. The day they had planned for, the day they formalised their commitment to one another and to their family and friends. Here is a small part of their wedding day story…
