I’ve had a rush of boys in the studio lately. Meet 7 day old Thomas. So cuddly (and handsome too)! He was amazingly cooperative – easing out of one pose and entering into the next without any trouble. He was an absolute pleasure to photograph. After his session, he was heading off on a three hour car ride back home with his parents to their grain and sheep farm south of Perth. No doubt Thomas will have many adventures on the farm – I can already picture him helping his mum and dad out! I hope you arrived home safe and sound. It was wonderful to meet you all!

Its been a while since I’ve had a newborn boy in the studio. Meet baby Fletcher at 9 days young. What an adorable lil’ spunk is all I can say!! Life is pretty simple for this little man for now – feeding, sleeping, modeling… He was lovely to work with and so were his loving parents who were so relaxed. Don’t you just LOVE the name Makenzie? I had the adorable Makenize in the studio yesterday, along with her older brother. I can tell these two are going to get up to so much mischief together when Makenzie gets that little bit older! She was so sweet to work with – taking the occasional time out for a feed and then back to modeling again. It was so lovely to see Makenzie’s family again. Here is your preview from yesterday…

When I first met Flynn I couldn’t get over at how much he looked like a little man!! Such a handsome and sweet little guy he is. His parents are so obviously in love with him – how could you not be? It was lovely to meet you and I hope you enjoy your sneak preview.

I must add a special thank you to Brandie from Dilkarra Photography. A wonderful friend of mine who let me borrow her camera and use her studio on short notice after someone broke in to my home and stole all my camera gear the day before.

At only 6 days old meet beautiful Kiah. We didn’t realise at the time, but we were to have one of the worst storms to hit Perth later that evening. But for the meanwhile I had just enough natural light to take some portraits of Kiah. Each newborn I photograph is so uniquely different from the next. I love meeting new “little” personalities which over time will blossom into amazing individuals. Kiah’s mum and dad were so relaxed and made my job a whole lot easier! You have a beautiful daughter – congratulations! It was so wonderful to meet you all. I hope you made it home safe and sound.
